PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This degree plan is designed to accommodate a variety of health science specialties and is composed primarily of coursework required of professionally accredited disciplines of study for credentialed practice within the Military Health System (MHS). This degree plan transfers entirely to a variety of graduate-level programs that also support the MHS and the civilian sector, which will better serve the military member and the Nation while on duty, as well as long after separation from service.

CURRICULUM

Service members submit their Joint Service Transcript (JST), transcripts from previously attended colleges and universities, and reports from Advanced Placement (AP) or College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams. Any credits from these sources are applied to the degree plan that supports the student’s program of study. As the student progresses through their program at Branch Campus METC, their progress is documented and added to their transcript.

To graduate, students must have a minimum of 120 Semester Hours (SH), an overall GPA of at least 2.0, a minimum of 42 upper level credits, and at least 30 (or 25%) of total SH must come from CAHS.
